MB Tax Service is owned and operated by Maurizio Bilanceri, who has been advising friends, family and airline colleagues throughout the U.S. on their tax preparation for over 35 years. Due to his equally long career at American Airlines, he understands first-hand the special requirements and tax needs of professionals and crew members in the airline industry.
Maurizio provides personalized and professional tax preparation and advice on investments and retirement to hundreds of clients annually. He enjoys the interaction with his clients, many of whom are long-time friends and colleagues, and helping them make the right financial decisions.
Maurizio retired from American Airlines in 2009 after 32 years of service. He began in reservations, and since has worked in tour sales, airport operations, and most recently as a flight attendant. He conducted and developed the curriculum for day- and month-long trainings for various airline departments. Maurizio is the recipient of the 2002 American Airlines Professional Flight Attendant Award.
Maurizio is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals and participates in continuing educational seminars and programs throughout the year. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He is fluent in Italian and speaks some Spanish.
Originally from Florence, Italy, Maurizio grew up in Connecticut and has lived in the Mid-Cities for almost 40 years. In his free time, he enjoys traveling the world.
